ANSWER-

F1 = 8cos 0 i + 8sin 0 j

= 8 × 1 i + 8 × 0 j

= 8i

F2 = 9cos 90 i + 9sin 90 j

= 9 × 0 i + 9 × 1 j

= 9j

F3 = 2cos 180 i + 2sin 180 j

= 2 × (-1) i + 2 × 0 j

= - 2i

F4 = 6cos 55 i + 6 sin 55 j

= -6 × 0.5 i + (-6 × 0.8 j)

= - 3.0i - 4.8 j

F(resultant) = 8i + 9j + ( -2i ) - 3i - 4.8 j

= 3i + 3.8 j

root < 3 × 3 + 3.8 × 3.8 >

= root ( 9 + 14.44 )

= root ( 23.44 )
