Given :

Number of moles = 0.5 mole

To Find :

Mass of 0.5 mole of O atoms

Solution :

1 mole of oxygen atom has a mass of 16 gm.

We are required to find the mass of 0.5 mole of O atom. So,

Mass of 1 mole of O-atom = 16 gm

Mass of 0.5 mole of O-atom = 16 × 0.5

                                               = 8 gm

Therefore, the mass of 0.5 mole of Oxygen atom is 8 gm.
