Calculate the mass of 0.5 moles of H2O

No : of moles = 0.5

Molar mass of H₂O = 2 × 1 + 1 ×16 = 18 grams

No : of moles = Given mass / Molar mass

Mass = Molar mass × No : of moles
= 18 ×0.5
= 9grams
