Given
n= 0.5 mole
molar mass m of NH3
= 14+1×3=17

now we know that -
no of mole

n= weight /molar mass
weight =n×m
= 0.5× 17
=8.5 gm ans

Given: 0.5 moles of ammonia

To Find: Mass of 0.5 moles of ammonia - m =?

Solution:

Formula used:

number of moles(n) = mass(m)/Molecular mass of Ammonia(M)

The Molecular mass of Ammonia - NH₃= 14 + 3 = 17g

Applying the above Formula:

n = m/M

m = n × M

m = 0.5 × 17

m = 8.5g

Hence, the mass of 0.5mole of ammonia = 8.5g
