calculate the mass of:

1) an atom of Oxygen

2) a molecule of carbon dioxide

Answer:

1 atom of oxygen = 1× atomic mass = 1 ×16=0.016 kg

1 molecule of oxygen 2× atomic mass =2×16=32=0.032 kg

Hey dost here is your answer........

1. an atom of oxygen(O)

= 16

2. A molecule of carbon dioxide(CO2)

 = C + 2(O)

= 12 + 2(16)

= 12 + 32

= 44
