Heya!

Here is ur answer...

_______________________________

As we know,

mass of oxygen, of 22.4 l = 16

Molecular Mass of O2 = 2(16) = 32g

Therefore,

32g of O2 gives 22.4 l at STP ----(1)

Let, x g of O2 gives 2.4 l at STP -----(2)

Now,

eq.(2)/(1)

 \frac{x}{32}  =  \frac{2.4}{22.4}  \\  \\  22.4 \: x = 32(2.4) \\  \\ x =  \frac{76.8}{22.4}  \\  \\ x = 3.24 \: g

Hence, 3.2g of O2 gives 2.4l at STP

hope it helps

Answer:

3.42 g

Explanation:

Mass of 2.4 litres of oxygen gas at stp

as we know,

gm.mol.wt of oxygen gas = 2 *16=32g

Therefore, 32g of O2 will occupy 22.4 l

So.? g of O2 will occupy 2.4 l

By unitary method,

32g ->22.4 l

? g->2.4l

g-> 2.4*32/22.4 =3.42 g
