Given :

No. of moles of Ammonia (NH₃) = 5

To Find :

Mass of 5 mole of ammonia

Solution :

Mole is defined as the number of particles (like atom,  molecules or ions) which is exactly equal to the number of ¹²C-atoms present in 0.012 Kg of carbon.

  Number of moles = \frac{Given Mass}{Molar Mass}

or,   Given Mass      = Number of moles × Molar Mass

Molar mass of NH₃ = 14 + 3×1 = 17 gm

∴ Given Mass = 5 × 17

                       = 85 gm

Therefore, the mass of 5 mole of ammonia is 85 gm.
