To Find :-

  • The mass of a body.

Solution :-

Given,

  • Force (F) = 0.8 N
  • Acceleration (a) = 2 ms-²

As we know that,

F = ma

Here,

  • F = Force
  • m = Mass
  • a = Acceleration

Units,

  • F = Newton, N
  • m = kg
  • a = ms-²

[ Substitute the values in formula ]

⟶ 0.8 = m × 2

⟶ m = 0.8/2

m = 0.4 kg

Therefore,

The mass of a body is 0.4 kg.

F = ma

0.8 = m × 2

0.4 kg = m

Mass = 400 g
