Calculate the mass of CaCo3 required to react completely with 25ml of 0.75 M Hcl​

Answer:

CaCO3 + 2 HCl > CaCl2 + H2O + CO2

so acc to above reaction for the complete reaction , one mole of CaCO3 is used for the 2 mole of HCl, so mole of

HCl is 0.025 × 0.75 = 0.01875 moles , so 2 × 0.01875 moles of CaCO3 ,

mol mass of CaCO3 is 100 g ,

so 100 × 2 × 0.01875 gm

= 3.75 gm
