Answer:

Calculate the mass of copper that could be made from 4.0 g of copper oxide is 3.55 g

Explanation:

atomic mass of Cu = 63.545

molecular mass of copper oxide  (Cu_{2}O)= 143.09

C+Cu_{2} O2Cu+CO

1 mol Cu_{2} O ⇒ 2 mol Cu

143.09 g copper oxide ⇒127.09 g Cu

1 g copper oxide ⇒ \frac{127.09}{143.09}g Cu

∴4 g copper oxide gives =\frac{127.09}{143.09} 4= 3.55g

so,  3.55 g of copper could be made from 4 g of copper oxide .
