The mass of water and glucose required is 187.5 g and 62.5 g

Given:

Concentration of the glucose = 20% = 0.20

To find mass of the glucose:

We know that the formula to find the concentration of the solution is given below:

Therefore,

Hence the mass of the solute (glucose) is = 62.5 grams

To find mass of the water:

Mass of the water = Mass of the solution - Mass of the solute

= 250 - 62.5

Hence, mass of the water = 187.5 grams
