☢️Hi mate.....

➡️First we write the balanced chemical reaction involved:

➡️ 3Fe + 4H2O -> Fe3O4 + 4H2

2mol 3mol 1mol 3mol

2*56 3(1*2+16) (56*2+16*3) 3(2*1)

112gm 54gm 384gm 6gm

➡️54 gm steam uncomplete reaction with 112gm of Fe produce Fe2O3

➡️1 gm steam uncomplete reaction with ➡️112/54gm of Fe produce Fe2O3

➡️36 gm steam uncomplete reaction with (112/54)*36gm of Fe produce Fe2O3

➡️therefore, 74.66gm of Fe willbe converted into its oxide Fe2O3 by the action of 18 gm steam on it.

✴Ola!!✴

⤵⤵answer⤵⤵

The balanced chemical equation representing the reaction is

3Fe + 4H2O (g) -----> Fe3O4 + 4H2(g)

3moles...4moles

=3×56 ...=4×18

=168g....=72g

72g of stream will react with = 168g of iron

Therefore, 36g of stream will react with = (168×36/72)

= 84 g of iron

Therefore , Mass of iron = 84 g .✔✔
