Molecular mass of MgSO4.7H2O is 24+32+64+7(18)=246 gram.

No of moles= 12.3/246=0.05moles.

As per the question moles of Na2CO3 is 0.05 moles.

Molecular mass of Na2CO3 is 46+12+48=106gram.

0.05 moles will have mass =0.05×106=5.3grams.

Thanks.

Given:

The mass of Na₂CO₃ which will have the same number

Explanation:

Molecular mass of MgSO₄.7H₂O

= 24+32+64+7(18)

=246 gram.

Number of moles = (12.3/246)

                             = 0.05moles.

As per the question moles of Na₂CO₃

= 0.05 moles.

Molecular mass of Na₂CO₃

=46+12+48

=106gram.

0.05 moles would have mass

=0.05×106

=5.3grams.
