molecular mass of NH4NO3 = 80.1 g/mole 

and atomic mass of N = 14 g/mole 

so 80.1 g of NH4NO3 has 14 X 2 = 28 g of N (because there are 2 N atoms in NH4NO3) 

so 1 g of NH4NO3 will have 28/80.1 g of N 

so 1 kg or 1000 g of NH4NO3 will have 28/80.1 X 1000 = 349.563 g of N
