2KClO3=2KCl+3O2 Mass of 1 molecule of KClO3=39+35.5+3×16 =39+35.5+48=122.5u Mass of 2 molecules=122.5×2=245u Now, 2 molecules of KClO3 give 3O2=3×2×16=96u of oxygen So 245g of KClO3 gives 96g of O2 10000g (10kg=10000g) KClO3 gives 96×10000/245=3918.36g of O2 Or 3.91836 kg of O2
