formula for mass by mass percent of a solution is equal to:mass of solute /Mass of

solution 100 = x ÷ 100 +x x 100

mass of solution is equal to mass of solute + mass of solvent we know

20 = x ÷ 100+ x x 100

0.2 = x= 100 + x

x = 20 +0.2x

20 = x - 0.2x 20= 0.8x

x = 20 ÷ 0.8

x = 25 therefore 25 grams of potassium chloride is
