Calculate the mass of potassium sulphate required to prepare its 10% solution of 10gm water.

A 10% mass solution in 100g of water means x/(100 + x) = 1/10 where x = mass required.
100 + x = 10x
100 = 9x
x = 100/9 = 11.11g of potassium sulphate are required
