1 mole of element=  6.023 × 10²³ molecules
Molar mass of SO₂ = 64
molar mass of CO₂ = 44

moles of 4.4 g of CO2= ?

moles = mass/molar mass

= 4.4/44
= 0.1 moles
0.1 moles of CO2 = 0.1 moles of SO2:

 mass of SO2 with 0.1 moles =?

mass = moles × molar mass
=  0.1 × 64
= 6.4 grams

mole of any substance has 6.023 × 10∧23 molecules or atoms.

Molar mass of SO2 = 64

molar mass of CO2 = 44

Find the moles of 4.4 g of CO2:

moles = mass/molar mass

          = 4.4/44

          = 0.1 moles

0.1 moles of CO2 has the same number of molecules 0.1 moles of SO2:

Find the mass of SO2 with 0.1 moles

mass = moles × molar mass

           =  0.1 × 64

          = 6.4 grams
