Molarity = [W / (GMW)] × [1000 / Volume in ml]

W = Molarity × GMW × Volume in ml / 1000
= 0.375 mol/L × 82.0245 g/mol × 500mL / 1000
= 15.38 × 10⁻³ g
= 15.38 mg

Mass of sodium acetate required is 15.38 mg
