we have given weight / weight % i.e 20 % in 100 gm
let the mass of sodium sulphate be X gm
then acc.to formula :-
mass % = given weight of solute / total weight of solution X 100
20 = X /( X + 100) X 100 ( here, water is 100 gm )
20 = 100X /X+ 100
20X + 2000 = 100X
2000= 80X
X = 2000/80
X = 200/8
X = 25 gm
hope u understood !
