Answer:

Let the mass of sodium sulphate required be = x g

The mass of solution would be = (x +100) g  x g of solute in (x + 100) g of solution

  20% = ×/x+100 x100

20 x + 2000= 100 x

80 x = 2000

x = 2000/ 80  = 25

you have not given here per centage so I'm taking it 20

Answer:

25g Ans.

Explanation:

Mass of the solution = mass of solute + mass of solvent

Given that the mass percent of sodium sulphate solution is 20%.

Let the mass of sodium sulphate required be = x g

The mass of solution would be = (x + 100) g

x g of solute in (x + 100) g of solution

20% = ×/x + 100 x 100

20x + 2000= 100x

80x = 2000

x = 2000/ 80

= 25g Ans.

Hope it helps!!
