Answer:

mass of solution = 500g

concentration = 10 %

mass of solute / mass of solution  * 100 = concentration

mass of solute / 500 * 100 = 10

  mass of solute =  50 g

mass of solution = mass of solute + mass of solvent

500 g   =    50 g   + mass of solvent

mass of solvent = 500 - 50

                           =  450 g
