Mass percent = 40 Hence 40 % = X/ 250 ?

X= 100g

Hence amount of glucose needed to make 250g of 40 % solution of is 100 g As we know Mass of solution = mass of solute + mass of solvent Therefore Mass of Solvent = 250g – 100g Hence the mass of solvent(water)= 150g
