sodium sulphate- (Na)2 SO4
Na : mass is 23
S : mass is 32
O : mass is 16
2 Na so mass = 23×2 = 46 a.m.u
4 O do mass = 4×16 =64 a.m.u
total mass = 46 + 64 + 32 a.m.u = 102 a.m.u
PERCENTAGE:
SODIUM = 45.09
SULPHUR = 31.37
OXYGEN = 25.54
* IN ALL CASES, PERCENTAGE =
(MASS OF ELEMENT ×100)/
MASS OF COMPOUND
Hope it helps u
