The molecular mass of Oxygen is 16u

do the gram molecular weight of oxygen is 16 grams

Here is your answer !!

Atomic mass of Oxygen is = 16 .

So , gram atomic mass of Oxygen is 16 g .

Hence , 16 g = 1 mole .

So , 16 g = 6.022 * 10^23 atoms
=> 16 g / ( 6.022 * 10^23 ) = 1 atom
=> 16 * 1.66 * 10^-24 g = 1 atom
=> 26.56 * 10^-24 g = mass of 1 oxygen atom [ Ans ]
