Calculate the maximum amount of ZnS formed when 6.53gm of zinc is heated with 5gm of sulphur

The law of conservation of mass states that mass can neither be created nor destroyed in a chemical reaction.

So, Zn + S = ZnS

  6.53 + 5 = 11.53gm

So the maximum amount of ZnS formed is 11.53gm
