Calculate the maximum load a block and tackle system with 3 pulleys each, in the fixed block and movable block having an efficiency of 90% is used that could be overcome by a 1000N effort.​

Hello Mate!

Given,

No. of Pulleys (n) = 3

Efficiency (η) = 90%

Velocity Ratio (V.R) = n = 3

η = M.A/V.R

90/100 = M.A/3

270/100 = M.A

2.7 = M.A

Effort (E) = 1000 N

∴ M.A = Load/Effort

2.7 = Load/1000

2700 N = Load

The Load has to be 2700 N to overcome the effort.
