Answer:

Mean =sum of observations /number of observations

=4+8+12+11+42+25+7+14+22/9

=145/9

=16.1

Mode=repeating number

No number is repeated so it's zero

Range =maximum number -minimum number =42-4=38

Median=first should arrange the numbers into ascending order

4,7,8,11,12,14,22,25,42

The numbers of observations are odd

Median for odd =(n+1/2)th term

=(9+1/2)th term =(10/2)th term =5th term

So the 5th term =12 is the median

Answer

Answer:

  1. mean =

 \frac{4 + 8 + 12 + 11 + 42 + 25 + 7 + 14 + 22}{9}

 \frac{145}{9}

16.111

2. median = 4, 7, 8, 11, 12, 14, 22, 25, 42

= 12

3. Mode = 0..
