there are three ways to show to lines are parallel. They are

  • being alternate angle
  • being corresponding angle
  • sum of co interior angle =180

now.

for (ii)

c = 72(being alternate angle )

again

b + c + 55 = 180 (being sum of linear pair)

or, b = 55+ 72 = 180

or, b = 180 -127

b = 53

again,,

a + b + c = 180 (being sum of angles of triangles)

a + 53 + 72 = 180

or a = 180 - 125

or a = 55

for (iii)

a = 75 ( being corresponding angle )

b = 75 (being alternate angle )

b = d ( being corresponding angle )

d = 75

d = c ( being alternate angle )

c = 75

therefore fig (ii) and (iii) are parallel
