Calculate the molality of 4 molar aqueous solution of NaOH if density of NaOH is 2g/ml.​

No. of moles = 4

Molar mass of NaOH =

= 23 + 16 + 1

= 40

No. of moles = W÷M mass

4 = W ÷ 40

W = 40 x 4

W = 160

Mass of the substance is 160 g

Density of NaOH = 2g/ml

= 40 x 2

= 80g/ml
