Given - Mass of acetic acid and benzene

Find - Molality

Solution - Molality is 1.

Molality = moles of solute/mass of solvent in kilogram

Moles of solute = mass/molecular mass

Moles of acetic acid = 6/60

Performing division

Moles = 0.1

Mass of solvent in kilogram = 100/1000

Performing division

Mass of solvent = 0.1 kg

Molality = 0.1/0.1

Performing division

Molality = 1

So, the molality of 6g acetic acid dissolved in 100g of benzene is 1.
