No. Of moles = given mass / molecular mass

Given mass is 36 grams. And molecular mass of the glucose is 180 grams(C6H12O6).

No. Of moles = 36/180 = 0.2 moles.

Here solvent is water and we can take 50 grams of water as 0.05kg of water to get SI Unit precisely.

Molality = no of moles / kg of solvent

= 0.2 / 0.05 (mol/kg)

=4 m.
