Answer:-

119.5g

Explanation:-

Chemical formula of Chloroform:-

=> CHCl

In Chloroform three elements are present i.e. Carbon(C), Hydrogen(H) and Chlorine(Cl).

•Atomic mass of Carbon - 12u

•Atomic mass of Hydrogen - 1u

•Atomic mass of Chlorine - 35.5u

So,now let's calculate the molecular mass of Chloroform firstly.

= 12 + 1 + 35.5 × 3

= 13 + 106.5

= 119.5u

Since molecular mass of Chloroform is 119.5u,so it's molar mass will be the molecular mass in grams.

Thus,molar mass of Chloroform is 119.5g.

Some Extra Information:-

Chloroform: Chloroform (CHCl₃) is an organic compound. It is a colourless liquid with a pleasant smell. Chloroform is inflammable and is used in industrial processes. It is also a precursor to various refrigerants.
