no. of moles of salt = 117/58.5

                      =2

no. of moles of water= 5000/18

                                  =277.78

volume = mass/density

            = 5000/1 (g/ml)

            = 5000ml

           = 5L

molarity=2/5 = 0.4M

mole fraction

total no of moles=279.78

mole fraction = \frac{no. of moles of compononet A}{total no. of moles of A+ B}

a)Salt

mole fraction=2/279.78  = 0.00714

b)water

mole fraction=1-0.00714

                     =0.99286
