0.2 molal

Molality means the amount of moles of solute in a kilogram of solvent.

Molality=No. of moles of solute/ Kilograms of solvent.

As the molar weight of glucose is 180g/ moles,the amount of solute here is 0.1 mole.

And as the density of water is 1kg/litre, the mass of solvent is 0.5 kg.

So, the molality here is,

Molality=0.1/0.5= 0.2 molal.
