Bonjour!

Given---›

Mass of solute = 5.85 gram

Volume of solution = 100 mL

To find---›
Molarity of solution

Molarity =  \frac{mass \: of \: solute}{molecular \: mass \: of \: solute}  \times  \frac{1}{volume \: of \: solution \: in \: liters}

Molecular mass of NaCl = 58.5 g

Therefore,
M =  \frac{5.85}{58.5}  \times  \frac{1000}{100}  \\  \\  =  > M =  \frac{1}{10}  \times 10 \\  \\  =  > M = 1

So, the molarity of solution is 1 M.

Hope this helps...:)
