density = 1.02 g/cc

=>Let volume of solution be 1 litres.

Given, the concentration of HNO3 is 10% ,

10/100 X 1000 ml =>100 ml =>0.1 L of HNO3 is present.

1 L - 0.1 L of water is present => 0.9 L of water is present.

mass of HNO3 present= density X volume => 1.02 X 100 grams =>102 g

molar mass of HNO3 is 1+14+48 => 63 grams per mole.

Hence, 102 grams of HNO3 is 102/63 => 1.619 moles of HNO3.

Volume of solution = 1 L

molarity = (moles of HNO3) /(litres of solution) =>1.619/1 => 1.62 M

Hence, molarity of 10% HNO3 solution is 1.62 M
