Hi there,

As we know ,

1 ltr water = 1 kg i.e. 1000 g water (∵ d = 100 kg/m3)

≡ 1000/18 = 55.55 moles of water

So, the molarity of water = 55.55M

Hey !!

Molarity of water means number of moles of water in 1 litre of water.

1 L of water = 1000 cm³ = 1000 g        ( ∵ d = 1000 kg/m³ = 1 g/cm³ )

     1000 g of H₂O = \frac{1000}{18} moles = 55.56 moles

Here, Molarity = 55.56 M

GOOD LUCK !!
