Firstly I am clearing the question that it is 1M hcl solution with volume 2l
So the no. Of moles of hcl are 2*1 =2 ( as molarity = no. Of moles/ volume of solution in litres)
Now the moles are 2 and we have added 4 litre of water
So resulting molarity = 2/2+4
= 2/6
=1/3M= 0.33M
