Answer:

2.5 m solution means the solution contains 2.5 moles of the solute in 1000 g of solvent!!!. So the no.of moles of Solute=2.5. Now if we take the solvent as water the no.of moles of solvent =Weight/Mol.Wt =1000/18 =55.56. Therefore mole fraction of the solute= No.of moles of Solute/Total moles=2.5/58.06= 0.04306
