\huge\mathfrak{Answer}

\huge\sf{solution:}

Let the weight of the solution be 100 g

Then,

Weight of HCl = [tex] \frac{30}{100}×100=1 [/tex]

Weight of Water in solution= ( 100-30 ) = 70 g

Now,

no.of \: moles \: of \: hcl =  \frac{given \: wt \: }{formula \: wt \: }

no \: of \: moles \: of \: hcl =  \frac{30}{36.5}

no \: of \: moles \: of \: hcl = 0.98

Similarly no. of moles of water =

 =  \frac{70}{18}

 = 3.8moles

now \: mole \: fraction \:  =  \frac{no \: of \: moles \: }{weight \: of \: solvent}

mole \: fraction \: of \: hcl =  \frac{0.98}{70 }

mole \: frac \: of \: hcl \: = 0.0 14

similarly,

mole \: frac \: of \: water =  \frac{3.8}{70}   = 0.054
