30%by mass in CCl4 means 30 g of CCl4 in 100g of benzene

Mass of benzene =100g

Molar mass of benzene=78g

Moles B=mass/molar mass

Moles B=100/78

Moles B=1.28

Mass of CCl4 =30

Molar mass=154

Moles C=30/154

Moles of C=0.2

Mole fraction B= moles B/total moles

Total moles = moles B+moles C

Total mole s=1.28+0.2=1.48

Mole fraction B=1 .28/1.48

Mole fraction of B=0.9

I hope this helps ( ╹▽╹ )
