a). Molar mass of O = 16g
Given mass of O = 12g
No. Of mole = Given mass / molar mass
= 16/12. = 1.34 (approx.)

b). Molar mass of CO2 = Atomic mass of carbon + 2(Atomic mass of oxygen)
= 12 + 2 × 16
= 12 + 32
= 52g
Given mass = 22g
No. of mole = given mass / molar mass
= 52/22
= 2.37 (approx.)
