1) CH₄ -- ( 12 x 1) + ( 4 x 1) = 12 + 4 = 16 amu

2) CO₂ -- ( 12 x 1) + ( 16 x 2) = 12 + 32 = 44 amu

3) H₂O -- ( 2 x 1) + ( 16 x 1) = 16 + 2 = 18 amu

Hope This Helps You

hey there,

molecular mass of:-

1. CH₄ = (1 × atomic mass of carbon) + ( 4 × atomic mass of hydrogen)
            = (1 × 12) + ( 4 × 1)
            = 12 + 4
            = 16 amu

molecular  mass of CH₄ is 16 amu.

2. CO₂ = (1 × atomic mass of carbon) + (2 × atomic mass of oxygen)
            = (1 × 12) + (2 × 16)
            = 12 + 32
            = 44 amu

molecular mass of CO₂ is 44 amu.

3. H₂O =  ( 2 × atomic mass of hydrogen) + ( 1 × atomic mass of oxygen)
            = ( 2 × 1) + (1 × 16)
            = 2 + 16
            = 18 amu.

molecular mas of H₂O is 18 amu.

hope it helps..
