molecular mass of H²:

=2×atomic mass of H

=2×1g

=2g

Molecular Mass of O²:

=2×atomic mass of O

=2×16g

=32g

Molecular mass of cl²:

=2×atomic mass of cl

=2×35.5g

=71g

Molecular mass of C²H4:

=2× atomic mass of c+4×atomic mass of H

=2×12g+4×1g

=28g

molecular mass of NH³:

=1×atomic mass of N+3×atomic mass H

=1×14g+3×1g

=17g

Molecular mass of CH3OH:

=1× atomic mass of C+4×atomic mass of H+1×atomic mass of O

=1×12+4×1g31×16g

=32g

the molar mass of

H2 is 2 ×1u=2 u

O2 is 2 ×16u=32u

cl2 is 2 ×35.5u=70u

c2 is 2 x12u =24th

H4 is 4x 1u =4u

NH3 is 1x 14u+3x1u=17th
