H stands for Hydrogen,

O stands for Oxygen

The molecular mass of C=12

Therefore for C2:-

12  \times 2 = 24

The molecular mass of H=1

Therefore for H5:-

Also the molecular mass of O=16 and of H=1

Therefore by adding all the Molecular mass we get,
