Molecular mass of C2H4 = 2*(Molecular mass of carbon) +                                                                           4*(Molecular mass of hydrogen)

                                      = 2*12 +4*1

                                      = 24 + 4

                                      = 28

Answer:

Explanation:Write the Chemical formula of Ethyne (C2H2):

Then write Mass of Carbon = 12 grams

Then write Mass of Hydrogen = 1 grams

Molar mass of Ethyne =

= (mass of Carbon * number of Carbon atoms) + (mass of Hydrogen * number of Hydrogen atoms)

= (12*2) + (2*1)

= 24+ 2

= 26 grams
