Molecular Mass :-

Mass of all the atoms in a molecule or simply mass of the molecule.

Molecular mass of :-

  • CaCl₂ :- Calcium chloride

We know, Mass of:

Ca = 40 g , Cl = 35.5

Mass of CaCl₂ = Mass of Ca + 2 × Mass of Cl

⇒ Mass of CaCl₂ = 40 + 2 × 35.5

⇒ Mass of CaCl₂ = 40 + 71

Mass of CaCl₂ = 111 g

Hence, mass of CaCl₂ is 111g.

  • K₂SO :- Potassium Sulfate

We know, Mass of:

K = 39 g, S = 32, O = 16

⇒ Mass of K₂SO₄ = 2 × 39 + 32 + 4 × 16

⇒ Mass of K₂SO₄ = 78 + 32 + 64

⇒ Mass of K₂SO₄ = 174 g

Hence, Mass of K₂SO₄ is 174 g

  • CaO :- Calcium Oxide

We know, Mass of:

Ca = 40 g, O = 16 g

Mass of CaO = Mass of Ca + Mass of O

⇒ Mass of CaO = 40 + 16

⇒ Mass of CaO = 56 g

Hence, Mass of CaO is 56 g.
