calculate the momentum of the following
a) an elephant of mass 2000kg moving at 5 m/ s
b) a bullet of mass 0.02 kg moving at 400m/s​

1) m = 2000 kg

v = 5 m/s

p = mv = 2000 × 5 = 10000 kg -m/s

2) m = 0.02 kg  

v = 400 m/s

p = mv = 0.02 × 400 = 8 kg -m/s

just multiple given mass with given velocity

a) P= 2000 ×5 = 10000 Ns

b) P= 0.02 × 400 = 8 Ns
