Answer:

unit used in one day

1kW×2 + 0.6×5= 5 unit

unit in a month - 5 x 30 = 150unit

cost of bill - 150× 5 = Rs 750

Explanation:

1 unit = 1KWH

a. energy consumption = power x time

= 1000 x 2 = 2000 WH. = 2KWH ( 1 day)

in one month, 30 days

energy consumption = 2 x 30 = 60KWH

cost = 5 x 60 = 300 rupees

b. energy consumption = 10 x 60 x 5 = 3000

= 3KWH ( 1day)

in month, it is 30 x 3 = 90KWH

cost = 5 x 90 = 450 rupees.
